Six shiny new first team players added to the squad over the summer at the cost of almost £200M, brought in to improve - nay, to transform - us and take us to new levels.

OK lads, in your own time....................

Got the bus back with some Ipswich lads and they were very complimentary about us and very happy with the draw.
They seem like a decent bunch, not disillusioned or overconfident, they think they'll struggle but to be honest I hope they stay up, pretty grounded fanbase overall.
One of those games for us, created plenty but just not ruthless enough. Another day and we stick 5 past them.
Shit happens. Still unbeaten.

New players, apparently New tactics.. same old problems. Ipswich were dreadful and we barely troubled their goalie. Fabian is going to have to work something out against the park the bus teams or forget European places.

Velrman and JPVH. Very good.

Mitoma and Minteh patchy, but borh had their moments

Baleba an absolute beast.

Hinsh, Welbz and Ayari really good

Rutter, Verbruggen OK

Dunk not at his best

Genuinely don't think it was a bad performance.

Ipswich putting in the kind of performamce that kept us up under Hughts.
Reply this is how I saw it as well. Minteh and Mitoma very frustrating watching today. Everything bounced off either them or us.

I'm not sure they really 'parked the bus' as such - they basically couldn't get the ball so didn't have much option. But when they did get the ball they were quite adventurous. I was quite impressed by them in as much as they were determined, got stuck in without being dirty and gave it a go when they could. Hope these sorts of teams stay up.

Wow. That was a frustrating one. Sun was shining, spirits good, promising first half. Second half just degenerated into nothingness. Oddly, Minteh aside, we just didn't play too badly. Just strangely apologetic and weak around the box. Crying out for Pedro or a firing Ferguson. JPVH and Baleba both great. Baleba is an obscenely good player. Can't believe he wouldn't have been useful more last season.

Not seen too much of Ayari before but he was decent.

Minteh....yikes. again, not seen muchnof him as I missed united game and haven't been to away. He was horrible though. Clumsy and terrible touch. Hopefully just one of those days for a raw player but not convinced he should be starting. Definitely.more useful in defence than adingra and handsonhipsico.

Mitoma grew into it in the second half but back to those irritating soft, flapped crosses and shots and walking round with his head down.

Bah.

I'm going to have a chocolate bar.
Baleba is best facing upfield and running with the ball. RdZ wanted him playing on the half turn just in front of the CBs and passing it on quickly. I feel he just didn't fit RdZ's tactics.

Disappointing starters.
Disappointing subs
Disappointing from the manager.

So predictable. I would say we've seen it all before but usually we at least test the goalie on the second half attacking the North goal

Very disappointing waste of a sunny afternoon.

To be fair - the BBC has it rather different. Although I would have thought a 'blocked shot' was 'on target'. But that's stats for you I guess!

Could have been worse. For those of us who saw Silky David Cameron score the only goal at Lincoln. For Lincoln.

PERSONAL OPINION ALERT

today I thought was a good performance in parts and showed, even with new payers and manager, we struggled to breakdown a defence determined to not let us anywhere near the goal.

1. Georgino - struggled to get into the game but , again my opinion, but this is another Fati situation. Time and time again he made runs, and pointed to where he wanted the ball and we ignored him. I noticed he was getting more and more frustrated.

2 subs…….good choices …enciso - lightweight but skillfull. New Turkish fullback….decent but I would have put in pervis. Adringa at the moment is better than minteh( looks like a bit like a headless chicken when running)

3. tactics. - why can’t we breakdown teams that come to park the bus and hit us on the break? such an enigma

4. Build up to the game…for zeus sake kill the words on the screen! We all know the fecking words

very disappointing today, but we have another point! And we didn’t lose.

I noticed Ayari doing this a lot in the first 30 minutes or so too, eventually he gave up.

Peak Potterball.
This is simply not right. It was 6 shots on target. Which is a bit disappointing really.

Someone else said it reminded them of Burnley last season. I've gotta disagree, hardly any shots on target and barely any saves from their keeper. Just shite crosses from our wingers and Hinshelwood.
