Random one: I have a parking space at Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre booked for today. I assume that's fine and there isn't something stupid associated with parking there (route to the ground cut off, crap traffic etc)?!

Never knew you could park there. 30 minute walk to the ground, presume you know the train doesn't stop at Moulscoomb Station.
Anyway, also my first EPL game of the season. Seen more friendly and cup games (3) than league games. Bad fan.

Yeah, they have some Just Park spaces. Ā£13, so saves a fiver on the official car parks. I'll report back.

I've just run past the ground and it's a lovely sunny morning here in gods own country. I think Ipswich will turn up and be really lively, and it will be an open game. I'm hoping our extra prem experience will see us squeeze past them but I'm expecting a really tight game. Would be happy with any form of win. Even an extension of what by any measure this season, has been a bit of luck in each game.

You sound like a Palace fan
Tbf Crystal Palace also have some 25 players who'd walk into the Ipswich team...

I've been very hesitant to call out poor results against weaker teams both under Potter and De Zerbi but circumstances have changed, quality of the team improved and lots of PL experience been gathered. NOW its time to take the next step, and that step includes not dropping a bunch of points against what is essentially Championship teams.

That's very good of you, not 'calling out' poor results previously. I suspect Fabian is concerned by the news that you've changed your stance this season and will now put some extra oomph into his team talks.

Hehe. Or something.

Are you going to make a "I suspect Fabian is concerned by the news..." every time someone posts any sort of opinion relating to the team?

This game last year and historically had a draw written all over it with the Albion. Weā€™re going well, 3 results against stronger teams than Ipswich (Everton debatable) then we take our foot off the gas and it ends up in a draw. We play well first half, dominate create some changes but we miss them. Go into half time feeling good then sucker punch second half. Weā€™re one down and chasing.

I hope and am positive this will be different under Fab. He will want us to be ruthless. Come on the Albion. Ipswich have better players than some on here are saying but weā€™ve got to be relentless. Heart and head says 2-0 to the good guys. Albion pessimistic says score draw. Excited.

Through to the next round here, no excuses. A tricky away trip for the lads, but I reckon weā€™ll smash this lot.

Iā€™m going to go 4-1 Albion, March hat-trick, a Milner volley and a debut goal for Oā€™Riley.
The 100% guilt-free alternative to ā€œwere looseā€.

They really, really donā€™t. Not sure we do either. Not 25. No easy games - letā€™s not set ourselves up for a fall and respect the championship winners pls!

Missing my first home game for 3 and a half years.šŸ˜žšŸ˜ž
Took a gamble on a cheap holiday deal for this week instead of last week, not thinking for a minute that EUFA would be daft enough to have an international break 3 games into the new season.

The moral of the story, never underestimate the stupidity of EUFA.
Flying home from Lanzarote today. Coach pick up to airport is 4:15 so hoping I can find a bar close by to at least watch first half šŸ™

I would predict the outcome a in depth analysis, but the fkn adverts keep interrupting so bollox to it,JPVH with a facing the wrong way bullet back of the head goal from a corner! And a Granny Welbeck stunner from 2 yards.
