Looking at the Chelsea side I think we need to go at this on the front foot.

In midfield and attack they’re pretty formidable but that defence and goalkeeper are definitely there to be got at.

Why Gross? Because he is in the squad!?

If we are to become a mid-table team we NEED this level of depth in the squad.

Our squad looks a bit bloated. We could easily get rid of 3 or 4 experienced players and still have a stronger squad than most mid-table teams. It’s our first team that looks a bit weak.

MacAllister going would be 10x weirder than Mooy - he may have a knock - but he’ll get his chance - he’s part of the future. We do maybe need to ship a couple out especially if we’re bringing a couple in. Our squad needed trimming big time. Expect March / Bernardo / Gross / Propper / Stephens / Ali - 2 of them I think will go.

I agree, it’s not something that I personally want to happen but it’s something I can see happening, although I imagine Gross is more likely.
