Spot on - although the selection hasn’t been great, any team we put out today losing the ball like we have and being constantly caught with our pants down would get hammered. It’s been kamikaze stuff and that’s the sole responsibility of the manager
It's the way we play. We just play it much better than that normally.

Dyche’s out thought us here. He’s packed the middle and they are invariably winning the ball as we try to play through. We have to change and go down the wings

De Zerbi and the players have been completely outclassed so far. Fair to say the ball is also bouncing kindly for Everton.

Oh well, shit happens, we all knew a day like this was inevitable with the way we play though didn’t we?

Wouldn’t be shocked to see us lose this 5 or 6 nil

On the other hand, we’re gonna win 4-3 :lolol:

What on earth is with these crosses into the back post? Buonanotte hard a tall fella. Lots of lazy passing in their half being simply dealt with.

Apart from a few games this season before Potter couldn’t get out the door fast enough we struggled for the last two three seasons to beat teams around us in the bottom half of the table.
How’s this working out ? When was Potter 3-0 at half time against a bottom half team 🤡

We have not been great but Everton have. Calvert-Lewin having a great game.

Welbeck doesn't look fit to me, perhaps Ferguson on.

Main issue is we have over committed and been caught out, Estupinan and Gross too far upfield and not getting back, tired passing on edge on Everton's area.

Got to say I think Everton deserve their lead.

Anyone suggesting subs that don't include Gilmour, are you watching this? We're getting completely overrun in midfield. Mac Allister on a walking holiday, and probably the worst performance I've seen from Caicedo.

Dyche has targeted Webster as a weak link.

Let him advance anywhere he wants, to misplace a pass and destroy him behind.
Stop Mitoma, encourage webster to come forward, bully the argie kid, keep an eye on their goal-shy strikers.
Job done.

Painful to watch, why go kamikaze at 1 nil? Now we have no other choice!

Well, we know this team can score goals. We're going to need to show something special this second half. Hoping for some RDZ tactical changes because I'd have used some subs after the 3rd goal. Lets hope he's right.
Of course its easy to say it from here, but genuinely at 1-0 down and 20 mins in, I was saying we need to change something in midfield as its not working and we're being over run.

RDZ looked like Potter tonight, watched passively as madness unfolded, seemingly impotent to do anything

Why single out Webster? Our two central defenders have been left so woefully exposed by the tactics and lack of effort from other players.

The whole team has been a weak link.
They’re not all shit, no way. Caicedo and MacA have done their best, in a rearguard action surrounded by half asleep team mates.

Everton ALWAYS play 5 big units who can run in midfield.

Should’ve matched that number.
