TEAM NEWS
Brighton defender Joel Veltman, who hasn't played for three weeks due to an unspecified injury, is rated 50-50 by head coach Fabian Hürzeler for the visit of Crystal Palace.
Jack Hinshelwood, Ferdi Kadioglu and James Milner are all doubtful with respective knee, toe and hamstring injuries.
Winger Solly March, who has been out for over a year with a serious knee injury, could be involved but Hürzeler has stressed the need to be patient with the player.
Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is not quite ready to return from the groin injury that has kept him out since October but he could be fit for the midweek EFL Cup game at Arsenal.
Matheus Franca and Joel Ward remain long-term absentees.
