This evening, I have the delight of parking in The Bridge car park, and nothing in this whole wide world makes me happier than that.

At the final whistle / conclusion of penalties, I shall cap the team off and then make my way to the car. There will be no real lingering, but neither will I be in a mad rush to get back to the car.

I shall make a note of two times:

- The final whistle / time of last penalty
- When I drive out of the car park exit

How long will elapse between these two events?

Hmm, I have limited experience of the Bridge car park but those that I do have send a shudder down my spine.

It's a reduced crowd but I guess the car park is still sold out so I'll go for 90 mins.

Question: you say the start time is on the final whistle, but what if there is penalties? Will you adjust your start time to the final penalty?

Supplementary question, will Solly be on the bench just to bring him on in the last minute for the final penalty. If so you may want to park a bit further away as your windscreen may be in danger...

Just far enough away from LDC
Is that leave the car park, or pass through the tunnel?
Was going to ask the same. My own view is to get through the tunnel onto a27 will be 82 mins

Last night my kids went ro Thorpe Park fright night. For the pick up there was a 20min queue into the car park and a 48min queue from throwing them and their mates into the car and getting out of the car park

Last time I was in the bridge car park was with my nephew in something resembling this

I was stunned how many people in huge flash cars let him out in 50/50s ???

Final whistle / completion of final penalty.

If Solly features, I may have to leave early to have a little bit of "me time". What can I say, other than I will be VERY excited should that happen.

What stand are you in? This would affect my thought process for getting back to your car

We were in the Bridge, so left at 86 minutes on Saturday. We therefore left without any kind of queue, with the added advantage that we’d seen the Albion win 2-0.
@Papa Lazarou and I had a pact that if we fell four behind to Spurs, we were going to leg it on the 85th minute.

We were both delighted that we didn't make that dash!

Even if he is taking that final penalty?

I would say a good 15 -20 minutes from seat to car.

at least another 25-30 minutes to get to the bottom of the slope.

about a week navigating the people crossing the road / getting picked up / going through the tunnel

by the time we kick off against City at home, you may have got to the traffic lights and may as well turn back around to get re-parked.

So it was your fault then...

Bridge car park is my regular parking space ….what will affect the time is where you park within the car park…..could you indicate this once parked 😉

I don’t bother rushing down there and always take a post match flask of coffee (no PB rules) and a snack…turn the radio on to listen to the post match nattering on the radio…..I hope the journey home on the A27 is better than Saturday….took ages due to an incident near Hollingbury turn off
