Kevin started refereeing in 1995 and was promoted to the national list of assistant referees in 2000 and promoted to the referees list in 2003. He refereed the 2003 FA Sunday cup final and an FA Trophy semi-final in 2004.

Mc Shane v M Ricketts

I think Ricketts was on £10K a week at Leeds. When he went to Cardiff they only paid him £3K and Leeds made up the rest.

He is a bit of a prima-donna, I think, but would have be a good player as a foil for Leon Knight.

If he plays I would bet he gets susbsitituted in the second half for not trying hard enough like he did for Cardiff. Not that I would take the risk: one prima donna is (or was) bad enough.

I hope Adam Hinshelwood makes the bench. He has got to be in the team sometime, and I would like him at left back, where he he has played before, against Southampton (I think).

Otherwise, it looks like gloves weather tonight?

Michael Ricketts could make his debut after signing on loan from Leeds which may mean Gifton Noel-Williams dropping to the bench
