NSC's Most Stalked
Well its that time of the month again, forget about how shit the football is and give a positive, by voting for your player of the month.
February saw Jim McNulty take the honours after starring in for the Albion, wowing the crowd with his stepoves, tricks and gloves, but unfortunatley loosing a kidney in the process. Andy Whing put in a solid month at the back, and Carole came third. Murray still leads the way despite not featuring much at all
Congratulations Jim, and get well soon x
So after a month of disaster which saw a new manager, 6 new signings, 23 players and the most prolific month infront of goal (despite not scoring for the last 3 games), the club will end the month SEVEN points from safety,
So here's a reminder of that dross that was served up......
Orient 2 - 1 Brighton - A goal from Matt Heath on debut put The Albion in the lead, but he then gave away a penalty, and we went on to lose the game, with 5 players making their debut
Brighton 1 - 3 Southend - Slades, first proper game in charge, Some comical defending on the night saw 3 goals go past Andersen, Owusu scored just before half time on his home debut.
Brighton 5 - 0 Yeovil - The only win of the month, but what a win. Even Cox played well, scoring 2. 2 goals for Forster and a Murray penalty sealed the win. I Belong to Jesus
Walsall 3 - 0 Brighton - The worst performance of the season, Livermore taking a roasting at left back, and saw him leave the club. Only Andy Whing played well on a dire night in Birmingham
Scunthorpe 2 - 0 Brighton - Another "encouraging performance" that saw the Virgo lottery back and playing in midfield giving 150%. No real shots on goal, Carole missed an open goal, and cleared the stadium with said shot. Heath was sent off for giving away his second penalty of the month
Brighton 0 - 0 Tranmere - Another "encouraging performance" that didnt result in a win. Cox went close twice, and that was about it for action at either end, which saw sunshine and hailstorms all within an hour
