3rd division rubbish springs to mind

One of the most famous ones was West Ham at home in 1933 (2-2, lost 1-0 in the replay). That was the season we failed to apply for exemption from the qualifying rounds - and played a total of 11 matches in the FA Cup, scoring 43 goals in the process, which must be some kind of record.

It was 43 years before the next time we beat a top tier team, Ipswich in the League Cup in the late seventies.
