Hi, I'm a Stockport County fan who has been taking a look at this board recently due to the sales of Jim McNulty & The 'Gannon' Saga.

I would just like to say that the comments about my club and Mr. Gannon are much appreciated, we are proud to have a great manager in such difficult times for the club and he will be needed if we are to survive enough to play league one football next season....(i honestly don't think we are capable of play-off glory again, although i would be pleasantly suprised if we did)

Now i would like to finish by wishing your club all the best for the rest of the season and i hope that by the final game everything for both clubs is sorted.

Would be nice to see you lot go up, but to be honest, the other clubs up the top I've never really liked (MK Dons, Oldham, Milwall, Leeds).

Fair enough, you lot wanted to hold on to your manager, and it looks like you've succeeded (for now, anyway) - the publicity might have brought him to the attention of a bigger club though.

Good luck to you anyway - you've got a lot of problems financially it seems, and we're no strangers to that!

One thing I'd like to ask, mr Stockport fan, a good friend of mine is a season ticket holder at Swindon Town, she was scouting McNulty for me when your boys played at the County Ground, and she tells me that he played in the centre that day. Did he often play in the centre for you? We need him at left back of course, I'm just curious.

Ninja Elephant, Jimmy Mac is a very versatile player, great buy you got there. He actually played more at centre-back for us, including in the playoff final for us.

Damn, I'd been calling her a liar since he debuted here, because he looks so obviously an attacking left back and less like a centre back. I mocked her eye sight, her knowledge of the game and I even suggested she didn't know what centre back was. Oh, the embarrasment. Happily, we mock each other in equal proportions and she had a good laugh at my expense on saturday, so I don't really mind. Plus, she beat me when we played chess last, so she deserves mocking.

Chin up lads, new stadium, you got a few decent players, such as Murray & Davies, who both been @ EP in recent seasons, if you stay up this season i think next could be very interesting
