just a thought but as Leeds accepted the 15pt penalty in order to get their golden share back, why don't the league just give in and revoke the points deduction?........................................... and the golden share

So what? They have asked for the points deduction back and returning the golden share was integral to it

I agree, if they are saying that the contract was unlawful and should be cancelled, then the FL should quite rightly take away there football league status, which if i remember was a possiblity at the time.

They knew the rules and Bates took no f***ing notice, and have continued this season to spend without caring about creditors.

Is that a response to my post? If so, I don't disagree. My beef is with people on the board who aren't interested in the realities of Leeds situation, who just want to condemn them because they are Leeds.

Not really, but I would agree with your point about a lot of people being blinded by the fact that it is Leeds. (Not quite sure why I started with 'But'!)

I don't see why Leeds are so fussed about staying in this league. If they are struggling against teams like Cheltenham, then they are going to get spanked to Hull and back if they go up.
