If you've ever bought an Errea shirt you will know that XXXXL refers to a sizing chart previously used by anorexic pygmys.

The first Errea shirt I bought had me making the mistake of buying a Large and finding that this fitted me like a speed-skaters suit. Not pretty.

That "five X" size is prbably the equivalent of "X large" in normal fittings. The last shirt I bought was XX large and wasn't particuarly generous in it's room to expand! I like to think I'm not a fat bastard?!

I've got one of Warren Aspinall's old shirts and it's XXXL-now I'm not fat but it fits me comfortably,it must have been like a second skin on Aspinall

General rule of thumb with the Errea kits is to buy at least two sizes bigger than usual. If you are normally large bordering on Xl then you may even consider three sizes bigger as footy shirts don't flatter the slightly fuller figure if too snug!!!

This applies to kids kits as well. My three year old had to get a kit for a 6-7 year old and he is as skinny as a rake (unlike his dear old dad).

I usually get a XXXL - nice comfy fit, but enough room for expansion after a few pints.
