Brighton boss Mark McGhee:
"We would like a win as soon as possible - but I'll not be fazed by it," said McGhee.
"I'm aware of the lack of personnel, and it's a challenge that I will relish.

"We've had to reshape the team, and I'll see what the players' reaction to this defeat will be when we play Coventry on Saturday."

I would actually like to see Palace do well. Just because we are rivals (of sorts) doesn't mean that I'd like to see them get beat. It would prove that teams really can survive in the Premiership without needing 40,000 odd fans.

I would get much more pleasure in seeing Arsene trying to explain away a defeat to Palace!

No, it wouldn't. It would prove that the team with the second highest gate prices in the Premiership can survive. I would much rather see Blackburn (with not many more seats, but the lowest gate prices in the league) survive.

Sorry, have I missed the point of being rivals? I want to see them beaten every week, unless it helps relegate Pompey as well.

Palace certainly will not survive in the Premiership, even with 20,000 VERY odd fans.
