Ex RN? Jesus there are some freaks who get through. I was unfortunate enough to work at the RN Fire Fighting School with Alan Grimson in 99. Google him. Evil bar steward who is apparently out on parole soon.
This guy though, WTAF?

Lukey is not very happy after reading about it. But then again, he reads The Express. So he's probably raving about the Persians who've moved into the area.

Indeed. Which only goes to show that no vocation or career or training can preclude the possibility of wrong 'uns slipping through the net and even rising to the middle if not the top. My profession (academia/biomedical research) is awash with cut-throat mendacious psychopaths.

I think you may have mentioned Grimson before and I recall looking him up :mad:

On a positive note, most people are decent (if a little lacking in energy and engagement, on the whole) and the societal trajectory is such that there is outrage over shit like this, now. When I was a kid in the 60s and 70s we would simply have found it peculiar (and some of us would have found it amusing :nono:).

Cheers

That may be a little premature. Cosby has had his convictions overturned today, as you know. There may be a reason for this which transcends the cunning of law team and the mountain of money paid to them for their services (i.e., he's innocent). Time will tell. My money is not on the latter, however, albeit I have never won a bet for money. Ever.

It's the good old US of A justice system, where anything goes.
