Albion’s under-23s will be aiming to build on Monday night’s point away to Wolves in PL2, when they take host Arsenal tonight at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, kick-off 7pm.
Simon Rusk’s men drew 1-1 with Mark Kennedy’s side at the start of the week. Ashley Barnes-Seal had given the home side an early lead when he turned home from close range after three minutes, but Peter Gwargis fired a superb equaliser ten minutes after the break to earn the Seagulls a share of the spoils.
Tonight’s opposition are managed by Steve Bould and sit second in the table ahead of this evening's contest on the south coast.
The Gunners have won their last three league matches, and were 3-1 victors at home to Blackburn Rovers last Friday night thanks to goals from Trae Coyle, Zech Medley and Tyreece John-Jules. The reverse fixture between the two sides came back in August at Meadow Park, where goals from Nathan Tormey and Emile Smith-Rowe were enough to give the hosts three points, despite Ryan Longman's late effort.
The game will also be streamed live on MyAlbion TV this evening.
