Its that time of the month again, another month completed, another one to begin. We started the month quietly without a fixture until the 17th.

Brighton 0 - 2 Leeds - yet another home defeat, 4 on the bounce. Elphick at fault for the first, Murray and El Abd at fault for the second. Sullivan saves a penno

Brighton 0 - 0 Luton - did anything happen?

Cheltenham 2 - 2 Brighton - a heroic draw against a team in the relegation zone, coming from 2-0 down to equalise in stoppage time. Did Samarah find his hat? Goals for Forster and Hinshlewood

Leicester 0 - 0 Brighton - A game of to Leicesters. Sullivan with a wondersave, not many chances, but a clean sheet to the runaway leaders

Brighton 2 - 1 Hartlepool - A terrible first half, but it soon picks up with Carole lighting up Withdean, setting up Forster for a goal, and a late winner from our good friend O.G.

December say captain marvel take the honours, with Murray still in the lead in the player of the SEASON ranks, so who excelled in January??

December
Nicky Forster 42 votes, 5 points
John Sullivan 38 votes, 3 points
Adam HInshlewood 14 votes, 1 points

Overall
Glenn Murray 13 points (110 votes)
Michel Kuipers 10pts (146votes)
Nicky Forster 6pt2 (69 votes)
Kevin Thornton 6pts (29votes)
Tommy Elphick 5pts (31 votes)
Colin Hawkins 3pts (43 votes)
John Sullivan 3pts (38 votes)
Adam Hinshlewood 1pt (14votes)

Sullivan is one of the few players to come out of January with any credit.

FDM is my favourite player and gets my vote every time - normally

But you just cannot argue with the performances from Sullivan :ascarf:

Glad to see that John Sullivan is well in the lead, deservedly so. Nice to see a BHA 'keeper come through the ranks for a change.
