Brighton are in talks to sign Livingston's American goalkeeper Brian Schwake.

The 21-year old, who has spent the past season on loan at Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton, has been in at Brighton this week training so that the Premier league side's coaching staff could take a closer look at what he can do.

Schwake would cost a minimal fee of around £250,000 as a cross-border compensation deal for a young player out of contract.
