Sick of losing? Sick of under-performing? Sick of the abuse from the fans? Sick of being stuck behind such a defence?

For a few games after the brentford incident, Murray was "ill". He came back strong, can we hope for the same from smith?

I'm no fan of smith bashing, but I have to say I'm relieved he's not playing today

He is bound to be crap, as no one can fill the boots of the world class Kuipers.

Kuipers for The Dutch side!
Kuipers for Captain!
Kuipers for PM!

Kuipers for retirment!! = He's 35 and always injured
Kuipers for the transfer list! = If this new one does well, he's proved in the past he won't play second fiddle.
Kuipers for clearing out the changing rooms!! = Well we like to keep the old boys in work, so it'll be a start for him.

You have to let him go, he won't play forever. Believe it or not, he's only human:cry:

well playing f***ing well today, only mistake seems to be conceding that penalty but i think he more than made up for it by then saving it which would have given the team a positive boost.

As Poyet said, it was his 1st game for 5 months. Pretty impressive debut for someone who hardly knows his team mates. Didn't he start his career at Swindon in equally impressive form, saving two(?) penalties before he broke his arm??

The future at this club doesn't look great for Smith at the moment.

Yes, he was immense (statistically) before the arm break, saving 2 penalties (one of which he gave away) away at Hartlepool on the opening day, Swindon winning 1-0. The parralels are amazing. He broke his arm (horrifically) and hasn't been the same. The thing is, 6'6 tall and looking as he does, you'd think he'd be brilliant but for every wonder save there's a 30 yard Forster free kick which goes past him (Brighton 2-1 Swindon, Withdean 2007) and there's Jake Robinson chipping him (Swindon 0-3 Brighton, 2006) and then there's QPR putting 3 VERY soft goals past him (Swindon 2-3 QPR, 2008). I think he's decent on his day, but there's a reason Crewe (TWICE!), Dagenham and Redbridge, Cheltenham and Bristol City didn't give him a contract after trials over the course of this season.

Kuipers should be #1, but Brezovan is a better than #2 than Smith has so far proved, in my opinion.

Oh yeah, he kicks worse than Kuipers. No, really.
