you are being played, exploited by people with an agenda to perpetuate a new myth. it doesnt even make sense, UKIP was around since 1993, public division on the subject for at least a decade. the election promising a referendum was before ATAD was proposed, passed on 30 June after. the rules already came into effect so its too late, and UK legislation was compliant anyway.

Being played? You work in IT don't you? I'm afraid you voted leave and you were sold a pup. Don't talk to people about myths on the internet and being played because you're not qualified. If you received an email from 'Princess Britney' purporting to be the daughter of the Minister for Oil from Nigeria, who's just an ordinary girl from the Niger Delta wanting your bank details in The UK, you'd give it to her. Stop calling Johnson 'Boris' - look in the mirror and admit the shambles you've created with Brexit and what The Conservative and Unionist Party have become, because you're probably an alright bloke. That little girl in The Sixth Sense saw dead people. 26 years on in Sussex and without Bruce Willlis in sight I see dumb people, but increasingly I see that they've now seen the light. Wake up if you haven't.

Thanks.

How can remainers be defined as lefties?

You do know that a lot of Tory MPs campaigned to remain. Please don't tell me you think Tories are lefties?

This lefty luvvies thing is another made up Daily Mail lie. A lie which only the educationally challenged believe...

This, millions of traditional Labour voters across the country voted to leave which is why Corbyn is ****ed if he go’s for an election before the 31st and he knows it! Proper ****ed too [emoji23], he’d have too return to the back benches this time.

i didnt vote and i long since conceded we remain, i see so much nonsense from both sides. we know there's a lot of lies and here we have one probably originating from a political corner that are not even remainers, to play upon a popular theme against tax avoidance. address the point, why would brexit be driven by one recent issue when objection to EU has been around 25 years, and legislation noted is in our law already?

and perhaps we should ask why the population became more engaged in the issue to swing from 10% to 52%, because im sure thats more important to understand how to change peoples minds, sell the EU rather than constantly disparage the leave voter.

Indeed. Remain is the position of the socially liberal, centerists and, incrreasingly, environmentalists. Your hard communist (talking of which, whatever happened to cunning fergus) or socialist is far more likely to be a leave voter, given the EU is a free trade bloc. This is why everyone suspects Corbyn is a leaver at heart.

In saying 'Leave means leave' you are quoting someone who presented a leave deal back to the House saying 'This means leave.' At which point the ERG said 'No, that leave doesn't mean leave' and voted against it, thus proving the original statement to be the meaningless drivel most of us knew it to be when she said it.

As you well know We weren't leaving under that agreement , nice try though but I'm going to give you a cap :dunce:

It's not even a tautology. It's just a sign of over simplified lunacy. It puts me in mind of a toddler running around shouting "BLUE MEANS BLUE! SAUSAGE MEANS SAUSAGE! POO MEANS POO!". ppf has had three years to look up the word leave in a dictionary and yet he can only define it as itself :nono:

Ok ,could you tell me and 17 .4 million others what leave means ???

It’s the Wikipedia effect, stupid people rely on other people’s research, quote it and then pretend to be clever....

No point denying it, I'm putting my hand straight up for that one.

That is why I would never vote Labour again, they don't know what they are anymore, and have just turned in to a bunch of hypocrites in my opinion. The slide started with Blair and it hasn't recovered.

They did lose touch with the working class voter under Blair but I feel they are now listing to me again.

They are not listening to the thousands of leave supporters up north. That's not me saying that, that's John Mann from Labour.

What are all these thousands saying? What are their primary concerns?
