I would have thought an ardent enemy of anti-semitism like yourself would have spoken up before, no? It's almost as if you're only interested in racism when you can use it as a stick to beat people you don't agree with. But that would be the behaviour of a real wanker so I'm sure it can't be true.

Anyway, your post is nonsense. Das Reich is literally called PPF because people have spoken out about him in the past. And so, and this is why I think he should post under his original name, a lot of people had no idea what DR stood for.

I've been calling him out on it more recently after he shared a link from a very far right youtube channel on here. Again, I'm sure you'd like to add your voice to the condemnation. Much as you hate anti-semitism.

Back at you ... I would have thought any ardent enemy of anti-semitism like yourself would have been front and centre in condemning the state of the Labour party/Corbyn's leadership on the numerous threads about that topic on NSC .. :tumble::tumble::tumble: It's almost as if you're only interested in racism when you can use it as a stick to beat people you don't agree with. But that would be the behaviour of a real wanker so I'm sure it can't be true.

As I said before, I condemn unacceptable posts (and links) when I see them and have done in the past but you carry on highlighting some irrelevant nobody with a sad Nazi fetish on a football forum I'll stick to highlighting a possible future governing party that has been described as institutionally antisemitic by Jewish Labour members and an existential threat to the Jewish community by the Jewish press in the UK.

Sure you do. Just like all your other brexiteer chums on here. It's amazing how often you all miss the bigotry of some brexiters. Quite the coincidence.

Thank you for letting us know.

Personally I don't research all NSC usernames - just assumed it was his name.

Totally this. People should be more honest.

I'm thinking of changing mine to JosephStalinwasreallyagoodguy..... not that I think he was.

Nice bit of whataboutism

Had any more ideas about how to get your 'good deal' since your last one ?

Only adjusting what has already been agreed. I suggested making the backstop temporary adding the ability to withdraw with x amount of notice (unlikely to ever be triggered) as I believe it would break the deadlock so we could officially leave and move to the future trade relationship negotiations.

Try to remember that simply listing what you want doesn't actually constitute a deal, or else we could just take the backstop out completely, and let us trade freely with the EU as at present whilst not making any contribution to the EU and not having to abide by any of their rules or regulations, and that gets rid of the NI/Ireland problem as well ?

To be fair, your mate doesn't seem to understand the term 'deal' either. He seems to think it consists of making up more red lines. This was his last definition of a 'good deal'

A deal that neither means different rules apply to different parts of the UK nor ties us into something we need EU permission to get out of.

or his alternative solution of giving back a country to one that it was never part of

And yes, Ireland should be a united island under one government ..... the Irish government.

Well for starters, the majority of people in Northern Ireland want to remain part of the United Kingdom. It was written into the Good Friday Agreement that if the majority of people in Northern Ireland (and the Republic of Ireland) want Northern Ireland to be part of the Republic of Ireland then that’s what will happen. It's probably also worth noting that Northern Ireland has never been part of the Republic of Ireland so there is no previous historical state to return to. (As far as I know, it still is a single Island ) When what is now the Republic of Ireland was formed as the Irish Free State, Northern Ireland chose to opt out and form its own distinct region so the Republic has only ever been the 26 counties.

The last time Ireland was independently united was around 1011 when the regional rulers recognised Brian Boru as king but even that only lasted a year. The only time that Ireland has been united as a political entity has been under British rule so it would almost make more sense to ask why doesn’t the Republic of Ireland return to the UK to have a united Ireland again?

The pair of you seem to be getting very confused about what your 'good deal' consists of, so I have given you the definition of 'Deal'. Traditionally there are two or more parties who agree it, rather than one party simply listing what they want. Hope this helps

Deal

countable noun

If you make a deal, do a deal, or cut a deal, you complete an agreement or an arrangement with someone, especially in business.
[business]

Japan will have to do a deal with America on rice imports. [+ with/on]
The two sides tried and failed to come to a deal.
He was involved in shady business deals.
You're not going to get out of here unless we make a deal.

Anyone would think that the two of you are so far out of your depth that you will use any kind of whataboutism, deflection and simply ignoring when asked what your 'no deal' consists of. It would almost appear that the pair of you were so completely taken in by the Leave campaigns 'good deal' lies that you actually have no idea what a 'good deal' would look like or how it would work. I'm sure that isn't the case though

I believe I asked you before, but you didnt answer. Is the 'anti semitism' regarding Corbyn and the Labour party, directed at the Jewish faith, or are people talking about an anti State of Israel posture? If directed towards the faith, difficult to argue against it. What was actually said? Do you know, or just accepting a headline?

... also a bit rich complaining I don't fastidiously monitor all the Brexiteer posts when you only provide one negative example out of 3200 Ppf Brexit thread posts. But tell you what I'll start monitoring all Brexiteer posts when you start calling out all the bigoted crap from remainers on this thread .... :tumble::tumble::tumble:

The headline he is casually accepting is, I suppose. "United we stand", the front page lead in Britain's three leading Jewish newspapers a year or so ago: the editorial accompanying it referred to an 'existential threat' to the Jewish community caused by the Labour Party's position. This was the phrase seized on by JCFG. I have a more instinctive affection for Jewish people than for most Labour Party activists, but to claim that the (sometimes unpleasant) comments of a small minority of Labour Party members, aided by the party's waffly and weak leadership, is threatening the very existence of the Jewish Community seems to me to be utterly bizarre, particularly as the YouGov survey of around the same time showed that Labour Party members appear to be less anti-Semitic than Conservative ones.

Wildly excessive comments do the community no favours - nor does blindly accepting them to score some political point or other.

As you have signalled your intent to vote for Corbyn if necessary it comes as no surprise you seek to downplay concerns of the Jewish mainstream press. Deflecting to the Tories also a standard response .... How many Jewish Tory Mp's needed a police escort at their party conference?

Well, the fact that he seems to be choosing not to answer the question, leads me to believe its the anti State of Israel stance.. which, in my eyes, and in the eyes, of many Jews, is not anti Semitic in the slightest.

The fact I have suggested you look up the numerous examples, there are so many and provided a link to a relevant thread suggests you aren't really interested in looking. If the Impster can find them why can't you?

Because, they all reference the anti State issues, and nothing to do with anti semitism. Im asking you to provide me with a real link, concerning anti semitism, ie against the faith.
What has been said, that is anti Jew, or Jewish faith?

So, on this occasion, you're in favour of listening to the majority?

It's sad that you miss out. There was a whole explanation of why one of your fellow Brexiteers solution of 'give northern Ireland back to Ireland' wouldn't work, but unfortunately your attention span didn't allow you to get past the first line.

I did wonder when I gave the explanation, whether two paragraphs was too much detail for the attention span of some on here ???

I'm guessing this isn't an isolated occurrence ???
As you obviously realise, the point I was making was that the UK voted to leave the EU, but some people completely disregard that vote.

I dip in and out of this thread, so haven't read the vast majority of the 95000 posts. I am amazed at the amount of time you guys spend on this topic. I'm also shocked at the way you insult each other. Your dig re 'attention span' being a prime example, and I won't lower myself to that level. You are never going to 'win' the argument, whichever side you support.

I am going to spend my afternoon doing something worthwhile.

I hope you had a lovely afternoon. I certainly did, and finished up eating some of the very first fish my grandson caught.

I don't think you can claim that the 2016 vote has been completely disregarded - politicians have been obsessing over it for three years. May burnt herself into a frazzle trying to implement it and, as things stand, it seems the best that arch-Brexiteer Johnson can come up with is either a form of Brexit that Jacob Rees-Mogg said would turn Britain into a vassal state or a calamitous No-deal that no one doubts will reduce our nation's influence, harmony and economic wellbeing.

It is doubtful that anyone actually voted for either of these two things so it seems reasonable to ask the public if they are happy to proceed. Polls can change but they currently suggest the public, on balance, would rather not.

I believe you.

Typical of the leftie remainer.

Full of insults and tantrums.

Just listen to Kevin Maguire on GMB, balling his eyes out, Boris this, Boris that, it's not fair.

You lot are just making it worse for yourselves, no one likes a bad loser.
