I know three people who work for Nissan who have had to move from Sunderland to Paris. They are devastated!

But in all seriousness, jobs have been lost from Nissan in Sunderland. That is due to Brexit.

Also consider EU-Japan trade agreement is 0% tariff to enter EU. Will be 10% on WTO terms so makes sense to scale back production there. Will only make Nissan uncompetitive

Nissan actually put on redundancy papers that staff were being laid off because of an event that doesn’t happen until March 29th 2019?Very odd.
