Thunder Bolt
Silly old bat
Can't go wrong really, less crowded, better weather, rivers that are actually safe to swim in...
By the seaside with 10 kms of flat golden sand beach.

Blimey, that's the first time I have been called petit bourgeoise. We go to a mobile home on a campsite in France through the Tunnel.
It is cheaper than holidaying in Devon or the Lake District.
I take it you haven't taken cunning's (and Uncle Jacob's) advice and tried taking your car, caravan and all your kith and kin via Portugal instead, via the E-Gates?
I think it has been established beyond any doubt that the reality of the chosen Brexit has turned out shite for the ordinary citizen. So previously if you subscribed to Sky or similar content in your EU country, you could stream that service in another EU country. Not anymore for the UK. Another lovely little Brexit benefit.
SO SAD
£6m spent dealing with Brexit and now nothing to support soaring energy bills
Answer - Move 1000 jobs to Netherlands, easier to do business and proper support in place. Energy bills capped at 5.5%

That doesn't ring true. What's the company called, for one thing? Why don't reports give its name? It's not to stop his employees finding out, because with info such as 11 storage depots exporting to Europe and the director is called Lee and lives in watford, there is enough info for all the employees to know who it is.
Where is the evidence of the 5.5% cap on price increases in the Netherlands? This Dutch site seems to believe they have the most expensive energy in Europe.

Would a company really shut down 11 depots for the temporary advantage of prices which are less in the short term? Would a company director really believe that Dutch prices of energy (and they are heavily dependant on natural gas) are safe, in the long term, to be significantly less than the UK? Could a company that needs 11 cold food storage premises around the UK run the same business from Rotterdam?
There are loads of questions to ask before you start feeling sad about a company which may not even exist.

Is this what you are now utilising as the metrics of unremitting Brexit failure these days?
I can remember the heady days of predictions of the hollowing out of the city, the killing of the golden goose, the queues of Bankers and brokers taking their bonuses off to Amshhterdem and Pareee………
https://news.cityoflondon.gov.uk/lo...competitiveness,a competitiveness score of 41.
This kind of mattress damping is beneath you……..it’s like watching Ali getting bashed up by Frasier.
Very sad.
Loving the leaked tape of Truss admitting using blaming the EU and migration as a handy tool for gaining votes..... oh, and lying shamelessly when confronted by the facts, and throwing Raab under a bus... She's perfect for the job of PM .

Probably more Project Fear just like that raging inflation and shrinking GDP stuff
Bloody hell. That's.....grotesque.
I keep hearing the mantra from tory supporters of a certain type (noisy, resolute, strident, unapologetic) that all politicians lie so get over it.
Bollocks.
They also argue that the Labour party is wrong.
I don't ever hear them say the Labour party lies. If they did....I expect this will be a lie.
No. The current tory 'leadership' are the liars. Fact.
When cosplay Thatcher becomes PM they have 2 years and then they will be booted out. In the meantime....how much more damage will they cause.... in 2 years? A great deal. Bit hard to blame it on Covid and the EU, and immigrants, and unions. But they will.
Brace yourselves, people
