What is Labours Brexit policy, remain, leave not sure they know themselves

I think the only thing Labour doesn’t know is how thick must you be not to understand their policy.

They negotiate a better deal for the country, staying in the customs union, protecting workers rights, that is then put to a referendum with remain being the other option.
Why is that sooooooo difficult to understand.

I'd call it out if needed. He used the plural and thus called all three MPs he cited "wise monkeys" you eejit!

This. I've read it several times, and can't make it refer to only one MP.

**** me the lengths some people on here will go to defend a racist and their comments is astounding! That example is completely different to calling ONE MP a monkey isn't it.
No, I won't give it a rest as racism is appaling and it should be stamped out bot swept under the rug, defended and ignored.

Now, Ppf might be a thick, clueless, sheltered waste of skin and organs but in this instance it was a clear reference to the 3 wise monkeys and not (for once for Ppf), not actually a racist dig. Even for a worthless nazi like him, that's a long stretch to make that connection.

Either that, or you're playing a stereotype and somehow managing to whoosh the entire thread reader-base. I'm honestly not sure anymore.

Now, I wish I'd typed that, word for word. Great, great post (and accurate from start to finish).

Whatever he says, or is reported, Watson is leaving because he doesn't agreed with Comrade Corbyn.

This election is becoming interesting. The hard left will be pushing up against the right wing of the Tories with centerists either leaving or moving to the LDs. With such diametrically opposed leading parties, with the SNP, Plaid and Green eating into the Lab vote and Brexit eating in to the Tories we are in real danger of going back to Westminster just as deadlocked as today but with more fundamentalist MPs on both sides. The whip will be both strong and worthless.

My hope is that all of these sane, rational people will be attracted back in to politics and will somehow manage to coalesce in to a centre ground / progressive alliance. They'll mop up if they do.

"I might be standing down as an MP but I won't be leaving politics all together"

Pretty much the same as what Farage said. It's the only significant line in the letter and it means "don't think you've seen the last of me Comrade".

Farage is stepping down as an MP?

He also said:

"I'm as committed to Labour as ever. I will spend this election fighting for brilliant Labour candidates and a better future for our country."

He hasn’t stepped down as an MP seven times now.

According to Sky news tonight, Corbyn has been talking to Barnier and EU leaders about an extension to get his deal through and they are open to the plan.

Tom Watson resigned because of personal reasons. I think he may have discovered he’s not a socialist.

Watson's West Bromwich seat voted 68% leave and is apparently a Tory target. i'd have laughed at that, but with him standing down may be more open, and wonder what local polling is saying.

If they wrote the following it is ok:

The current Labour leadership is a joke which will be put to rest at the ballot box. Corbyn, McDonald and Abbot ARE the three wise Monkeys AND totally unelectable to most reasonable folk.

However what they wrote said "and Abbot the three wise Monkeys" which means Abbot is the three wise Monkeys. This is very deliberate from a consistently racist poster. Please don't fall for it.

Nonsense.

Edit: in what way does Abbot constitute "the current Labour leadership" to the exclusion of Corbyn and McDonald?

If there’s one poster on here who shouldn’t be lecturing people on use of English it’s you. I bet your sixth form essays are covered in teacher’s red pen :lolol:

Swap “standing down” for “not standing as” and it’s exactly the same thing.

Who is this McDonald chap?

And why are these three any less electable than the likes of Patel, Rees-Mogg, Raab, Johnson, Leadsom, Hancock or any of the others who just parrot everything Cummings tells them to say? All the decent Tories have been fed to the Lions.

I like your posts and I generally agree with the thrust of your beliefs but I really don’t think Ppf was actually being racist here.
He’s a racist shit head. One of the very, very few posters I genuinely dislike but on this occasion I think you are calling it wrong.

Please read his actual resignation letter which was posted below your comment above.

Look, I accept you hate labour but do you really think it makes any sense to just make up complete nonense to inform your narrative? Who are you trying to persuade?

I keep looking at what is being said, then I listen to what Corbyn is actually saying, and what people in his party are saying, and am coming to the conclusion that some tories must be really scared labour might win to make up such patently absurd nonsense about them.

While I have said I don’t agree on this one, that’s not to condemn you. Ppf posts so much thinly veiled, racist, claptrap on here that when he types “monkey” in the same sentence as Diane Abbot, he can hardly be surprised when someone isn’t willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Oh, I absolutely agree, but that wasn't the point I was responding to.
