Breakfast in Brighton and best place to park?

Hello all, we're driving into Brighton tomorrow arriving around 10am, having breakfast and then train to and from the match.

Any recommendations for some hearty breakfast? I love greasy spoon but the Gf can be picky (she doesn't eat the fat on bacon / gets out of the sea to wee etc)...

Also, any cheapish safe parking places? Thanks, Jim

Park up near Stanford Avenue area and walk in, free parking and an easy walk, you're in the North Laine in no time, bound to be somewhere poncy round there to your GFs liking.

Bill's is quite poncey, and in North Laine - North Road if I'm not mistaken. Highly recommended!

Go for the Mithras House P&R on Lewes Road. Park up then walk towards brighton to next road (Coombe Road) and about 50yrds up the hill, on the left, is H's cafe. Very friendly, clean and a good range of proper cafe food at reasonable prices.

Parking, food, transport all in one and there's even the grotty Lecturn pub should you fancy a pint.

True. But if you're just a couple and don't mind sharing a table it should not take too long. Worth the wait.

Can't comment on parking but "Breakfast at tiffanys" North Laine is very nice, vegetarian and meat breakfast not bad prices and you get allot

I have quite literally never not been able to park within 20 yards of my friends house in Stanford Avenue, and only ever at weekends. Florence Road is also easy to get a spot in, as are other roads around the area..

Unlucky friends who live in Stanford, Beaconsfield and Havelock .. Bemoan the parking and get involved in not moving their cars due to fear of losing the beloved space.

Perhaps I've been lucky, I tend to go in early on, so miss the shoppers coming later in the morning. Then again, I park outside my mates in Florence Road every now and then midweek, and always get a space. Suppose You could also try a bit further out, Surrenden Road, likewise, always get a space there, not a lot longer to walk into town.
