Pork pie land.
Why? We have CMS fit again very soon and Barnes back from suspension and unless there is another Kevin Phillps out there lurking about why bother.

Maybe because CMS is f***ing useless, and whilst Barnes "does a job" he is hardly likely to become the answer to our goal scoring problems overnight is he? Hoskins was starting to look like he was about to be our answer, and Poyet appeared to think he was the Argie's partner, now he is out. Poyet has spoken about looking in the loan market.

I can't quite work Hull out this season. They appear to have no real stars, nobody is raving about their football, they don't seem to score loads of goals, and yet somehow they're right up there chasing Cardiff.

Agreed. They seem to have been like that ever since coming down from the Prem. Pick up very useful players from all over the place. I believe some consider their current squad to be possibly their best ever.

CMS is only "f***ing useless" if you happen to be a f***ing idiot.

CMS is still our top scorer this season and Barnes has scored a few. Ulloa will help CMS and Barnes score more and the only reason Gus will look into loans is for another option on the bench. In that case I would look at a proven scorer to come on for 20 or 30 mins like David Connolly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but poyet is very critical of the loan market. I believe he said something like, the loan system in the premier league is different and we don't want to rely on it.

I can't see him bringing in any more strikers

We've seen Boyd a few times.
I guess I'm in the minority as I never really got what all the fuss is about.
That is the view of a large number of Posh fans according to my Peterborough supporting friend. If Hull have paid money for him then they'll be extra happy that he's gone.

I thought they were excellent when they came here. Very hard working and created a fair few chances. You could see why they were in that position.

When is Poyet going to get us a striker to cover for Hoskins?

I wonder if we can flog then CMS to play with him?

We don't need any more strikers.

Hope this helps.

What's the point in having a transfer window. Everything carries on just exactly as before. I thought it was emergencies only.

Agree with this, seems like the rules on loan players need a serious review with Udinese B exploiting a massive loophole and the concept of an "emergency" loan being stretched to the max - how can this be an emergency ffs?!!!

The FL are planning to close the loopholes on overseas loan players so they are classified the same , with proposals to be voted on at the summer AGM of league clubs. Could mean a maximum 5 loan players per team allowed on the pitch at any one time , and no more than 4 players on loan from one club to another per season. The emergency loan system needs to be completely overhauled.

Frankly, who gives a damn. An average player who won't make a difference to Hull. If he didn't have flair hair no-one would ever notice him.

he was rubbish when he played for peterbrough at the amex this season

He was incredible a few years ago when Peterborough thrashed us 4-2 at Withdean. Made a fool of El-Abd time after time.

Clearly most Brighton fans would rather have a Palarse player who walked out us than CMS. That clearly says it all about the ability of CMS. The only ones who still appear to have any time for CMS are either female or gay - so, which are you? ???

You're obsessed with people being gay - that's the second time you've 'accused' someone of that this evening. You're a pitiful neanderthal homophobe, aren't you?

The fact that people have voted for Murray ahead of CMS is hardly surprising - given that Murray has nearly 30 goals this season. Last season he was crap. And him being in exceptional form this season does not mean that CMS is 'f***ing useless'.

Everything points to my earlier assertion - if you think that CMS is that bad you must be a f***ing idiot.
