Boycott the word 'Falmer'

Perhaps I should get out more but I hate the way our new stadium is constantly referred to as 'Falmer Stadium' it's not IN Falmer and it isn't their stadium. It's in Brighton and it's ours! in fact I hate every bleedin reference to Falmer as it conjures up images of negativity and pictures of it's vile residents and will henceforth boycott any reference to Falmer in our new Stadium or elsewhere in relation the the Albion. Anyone care to join me on my one man crusade or should I really get out more??

It will never get called F****r Stadium once the naming rights have been decided on. I just resent it being called that as to me it lends ownership of the stadium to F****r and it's nimby residents. I agree it is near F****r but it is in Brighton and should be referred to as such now the battle to get planning permission is won.

You probably should get out more. I mean i understand what you're saying, but then surely we (as fans) are as much to blame as anyone else. We've been continually saying for years about 'We want Falmer', there's even the bloody song about it, so i don't really think that now you can complain about people calling it Falmer !

For me it's simply the Amex/whoever/ (Ann Summers if Gold takes over) Sussex Community Stadium.

No mention of Falmer.

Good idea. Get the bidding wars in early for the Stadium Name and f*** the NIMBYs poxy little traffic island on the dual carriageway.
