Boy flying away in homemade balloon

In Colorado, a six year old boy has climbed into a homemade airplane made mostly from balloons and is currently floating away. Scary stuff. How must the parents feel? ? ?

They say it is 7,000 feet up, but whether that is above the ground or above sea level they do not make clear. All the news channels over here seem to be showing it.

Poor kid must be petrified - and very, very cold.

hes 6 so maybe not,helicopters going up now i think....been going an hour and half
