Hi All.

Just want to say what a club you lot are.. you were so graceful with your win.

When Mackail Smith slotted the winner there was no taunting just a fist in the air and I thought that was extremely respectful. Especially when all your players came over to Joss and give him a pat on the head.

I wish you the best of luck in the future and I am hoping that we will both be in the same league at some point ;) back to back promotions for us!

Go on Seagulls!

We definitely got away with it last night big time, and I'll be stunned if you aren't in the FL next year

Am I the only one who feels slightly unworthy of all the nice things Wrexham are saying about us? They deserved it last night, we were really poor for large periods. Pretty sure they will win promotion at a canter if last night is anything to go by.

Wrexham very gracious in defeat - it was great to win but we so didn't deserve it.

Good luck for the rest of the season and beyond xxxx

I think both sets of club's have mutual respect for each other.. We have always had a soft spot for Brighton and you can tell why.

You would never have a team in our league hardly celebrate when putting one past us. Pure respect on your part and didn't take us for granted.

I can still see why you are a good team, your abaility to get the ball out of tight spaces and deadly precision. Very quick on the counter too.

What did you all think of Morrell's goal? not bad for a 36 year old eh?

I think that is one of those goals that gets described as 'worthy of winning the game'. Great strike

Fortunately for us, it didn't.

I'd have been slightly embarrassed if the whole team had charged toward CMS and Brezovan when that winning penalty went in, given what had gone before. Quiet satisfaction at battling through an extraordinarily tough examination, and frankly nicking it, was the right response.

I can't honestly say that I've seen any Conference football this season, but if the general standard is as good as Wrexham I'd be surprised. They must go with our best wishes for getting back into the League and I'd back them to do so comfortably on those two performances.

Good player. He caused us a lot of problems. Experience shows. Actually felt sorry for him in the interview at the end. Wrexham you gave 110%.

Thanks for the great post diablo1981. It was a good cup tie with Wrexham more than up for it. You made life very difficult for us in both ties. It was shame that one of us had to lose and when it came to penalties, it is a lottery. All the best of luck for the rest of the season, getting back into the league.

Worthing
I spent two hours constantly moaning at our performance so didn`t feel like jumping up and celebrating myself.
I thought Wrexham were magnificent and deserved the victory. A couple of dodgy tackles but that was because they were so committed.
And that young Morrell kiddy up front.......... could do a job ?

I do hope they go up.
