We need to be told!

Bloody right! And what happens if I want to comment on an old news topic which already has a thread? Surely this is better than starting yet another thread?

We also need guidance on how high can we bounce a thread. For instance the Steve Coppell thread from last Summer has already been bounced onto page 1. Therefore if we bounce it again (say 6 places) is that considered "bouncing an old thread"?
:dunce:

I may have missed the point (again), but surely there is nothing wrong with adding valid comments to old threads, especially if they become topical again. For example FG's 'Magoo out' rants after we'd won at Cardiff.

It only becomes moronic if somebody posts something on a thread called (for example) "Today's game against Sheff Wed'. Especially if the 'post' is merely a smilie.

Fuckers the lot of you.

Apart from Brovian, obviously.

5:30, 6 pints down. Bring it on Zafeway....

If you really want to test opinion, start a poll.

Which do you prefer?

1. Most of the threads on the front page of NSC should be at least 3 months old

2. Most of the threads on the front page of NSC should be new

When option 2 wins, you can turn your abuse on fellow NSC users, rather than pick on Bozza or the mods.

Bastard, I'm still at work. :(

Unfortunately I was talking out of my arse (again). I was on the way intothe gym. Now, after much perving, I shall attempt to get drunk.

Stay tuned much later for random abuse...

I don't see any problem at all with bouncing old threads provided they have some sort of current relevance or that they are of interest. Often I have a look through and spot something I have missed that I would like to debate.

If it is just randomly bouncing old threads for the sake of it, then ban 'em I say !!
