This worries me.If fatty over rules them what was the point of the public enquiry?.I just think he is stalling it until after they have been to Brighton.Does the fact the planning inspectors said no give the nimbys any ammo if Prescott did say yes to Falmer.

The crux of the matter is both inspectors have said that a more suitable site could be found and listed the options.

If we can disprove each one of these, it closes the door to judicial review and it means Prescott can make his decision based on the facts.

sorry have i missed something? I thought the Brighton and Hove Planning inquiry gave a veiled yes to Falmer (at least i dont recall an outright no)? or is there another inquiry in addition to the Hollie one?

But the inspector into that report disagreed

Charles Hoile wrote the report into the Local Plan Inquiry.

John Collyer wrote the report into the Planning Application Inquiry.

The two Inquiries, though separate, ran concurrently.

Collyer's report has only become public knowledge today. It's 262 pages long.

Didn't we anticipate many months ago that they had been cribbing from each other?!

Didn't we subsequently anticipate that the reason for the delay was that Collyer had said YES, contradicting Hoile's NO, and creating a delicate problem? Infact, the problem was much bigger, as BOTH had said NO. Well done, two jags, another victory (almost) for the little guy in his continuing struggle against the G&T brigade.
