Gusto, a hard right cabinet way to the right of himself, a majority of two and 40 Tories ready to rebel.

Like a lot of what Boris says, it's all fantasy land.

Ah well, as I said earlier, at least he has set out his stall and he states that the 'buck stops with him.
Let us wait and see what happens.

I am not one of Boris's greatest fans, but he has certainly started with some gusto. Something that has been missing from frontline politics for some time now.
Let us see whether he can translate rhetoric into results.
Still, it has been quite fun to see the usual suspects getting wound up, indignant and hot under the collar here!

If it's one thing the snowflakes on here don't like its a bit of straight talking , if ,but and maybe is their rhetoric of choice on here
Regards
DR

I am not someone who likes to demonstrate as I feel you just winding yourself up, so I like to get on with life.
However, when there has been a decision made democratically and 3 years down the line you have the doom-mongers still banging their drum of not accepting it, It will turn me and lots of democratic voters to new heights of animal Instincts.
This is exactly why your Coopers, Lucas's, Chuka's, and that horrible lib dem leader Swinson need to support the result and not keep causing trouble and let it go.

Look at you failing to fundamentally understand what half the country objects to.

That approach is proven to be successful. The genius of Trump is that he is the first to realise, you don't actually have to tell the truth.

So basically just getting his rabid pack of stooges behind him to be more raucous than ever, not bothering to answer a question and just shouting in general?

Great, looking forward to that for the next (insert the length of time he holds onto his job before his heart gives out).

It's literally like he's been to the Trump school of politics.

I don't even want to watch it. I'd like to see if I can just ignore politics until this whole sorry mess is over, and then tune back in when we have someone decent running the country. Sadly I guess that means after both this term and the next.
But don't give up the fight. We are not relegated yet.

It's amazing. If prime minister Corbyn stood up in parliament and said that the government was abandoning its targets at reducing net migration and was planning amnesties for 500,000 illegal immigrants, the Daily Mail would be frothing at the mouth. Yet when Good Old Boris does that, it's not even worth a mention
He's also made pledges costing something like £50 to 60billion. Again, if Corbyn did that, we'd have editorials about reckless Labour and the magic money tree, but when it's a Tory PM, it's acceptable.

Boris is a long way from a perfect choice but even Boris has got to be better than the nightmare alternative of Commie Corbyn . At least Boris wont bankrupt our country.

This headline springs to mind.

That could also be read: 'It's amazing that when Prime Minister Boris Johnson stood up in parliament and said that the government was abandoning its targets at reducing net migration and was planning amnesties for 500,000 illegal immigrants, that Labour supporters would be frothing at the mouth at a policy that they agree with. Imagine a job where you only had to memorize scripts. You've just imagined being a politician.

Just exposes the frothing at the mouth leaving Boris fan boys and girls.

It's not about improving their lives - it's simply about pissing other people off and blaming them for (not quite sure)

Boris has opened the immigration gates and they will claim it was a genius idea (in public)

For his next trick watch him promise billions on vanity projects like he did in London.

I can imagine Raab was burning inside when he promised to look at unpaid internships. That's MPs ****ed.

At least Boris is being open about his real politics for the first time. Let 'em in, cut taxes and spend spend spend !!!

Possibly, although it's worth pointing out that Labour policy was to end FoM from the EU too.

FWIW, I totally agree with Johnson here, particularly on the amnesty, what a waste of resources that must be to police. Get them legal and tax them, much more efficient

Because The Mail, The Express and The Sun are pathetic, childish comics, I never have and never will buy them.

Having watched that farcical performance by Johnson and his baying troops i think Labour has to do something radical. There is no point in turning up and being shouted at by a clown. So just say that until he behaves decently and answers questions they wont turn up to PMQs. Easy enough to publish the questions they would have asked. Dont play Johnsons game !

Or he could just sit there like today and wonder what the hell to do...

I agree, it's about raising morale before the battle. I sense a general election is looming and an energised Tory party will demolish Labour under the dreadful stewardship of Corbyn.

Corbyn is why the Tories are in power and will remain in power. It's a shame, because an energetic and charismatic Labour leader would steam roll the Tories. Instead, we have Corbyn....about as inspiring as magnolia paint.

Farage is why the Tories are in power. If it wasn't him putting the willies up Cameron we would have got Miliband.
