Bbc Listen again (and again and again). If he was ever in the running he's out now. What a total mess. Wasn't being asked about numbers even. Just the basics of the policy agenda for next two years. At one point was told 'this isn't a two ronnies sketch you can't decide to answer the previous question'

Eddie did his usual excellent job. Johnson sounded unprepared and struggled to perform his usual trick of bumbling amiably, distracting with uberposhness and chucking in the occasional outright lie. He actually sounded like his heart wasn't in it. Perhaps he is as uninspired by the queen's speech as the rest of us.
Johnson is a depressing manifestation of this country's continuing cap-doffing to the upper classes. Without the Latin and classical allusions he would have been dead politically years ago. Could you imagine him getting away with his utter incompetence, opportunism, aversion to work and dishonesty if he spoke with Paul Nuttall's accent?

Found myself turning it off half way through as I ended up arguing with him by myself re housing.
His heart isn't in it because he did his soundings the day after the GE, and found out he didn't have enough support for another bash at the PM job. His time has gone. Thankfully.

Listened to him on lbc and as per usual stutters and never answers questions....The politicians in this country are a complete utter embarrassment to this country.Its time we had some bloody good candidates and we need to get away from these pampered poodles as they're all in it for themselves and thats vey clear to see!!!

Oh dear! His grasp on detail is shocking, even for him. This shows Theresa May's Cabinet are poorly briefed, their level of discussion is inadequate and they clearly had little idea what would make it into the Queen's Speech and what wouldn't.
I agree that anyone leading a party has to have a better all-round knowledge than that. To think he came within a whisker of becoming leader less than a year ago!

An accurate and succinct summary - has got away with murder to date and needs to be stopped dead in his tracks before he does any more damage to the country as he persues his own personal agenda.
