Just shows how much we rely on the internet these days, and how we forget about facilities away from the internet. I have been reading quite a lot lately and was looking on Amazon for something to buy.

I am a bit skint at the moment, and suddenly remembered that we have places called Libraries. You can borrow books free of charge, return them when you are finished, and borrow some more books lol.

And you can (in East Sussex at least) search the book database on line and reserve at a modest fee - 60p. They will ping you an e-mail when the book is in and all you need to do is toddle along, collect and read.

I buy a LOT of books; not just fiction but photography, cooking, languages, music, business etc. I estimate I have around 800 books covering a wide range of subjects. Only 24 but I prefer books and getting information that way rather than online. Much more fun.

Me too, long live the touch and feel of real books! Say no to Kindle.
