Its a joke. I'd be surprised if its as low as 20,000. It is rare that I can get any three figure bet on with any of the shysters. I'm on my fourth Hills account since this time last year and despite losing 4 figures on it recently I can now only stake to win £100. The shops are as bad as pretty much any three figure bet gets referred, sometimes layed sometimes not.

Gamble responsibly.....if only:annoyed:

The whole industry is rancid. Betfair are no better with their lovely Premium Charge:censored:

Betfair Premium charge starts at 20% and its on a lifetime balance once you hit £5000 profit the 20% charge kicks in but this is minus your generated commission then the next milestone is £250000 which triggers the 40% - 60% minus generated commission.
Another option is Betdaq they don't hit you with any Premium charges, at least you will not get your accounts closed on either of these sites!

Trouble is with Betdaq there is a fraction of the liquidity of BF. Try doing anything on Daq if BF is down and there is literally nothing there. Ladbrokes is the only major UK book that will take a decent bet off me now, sadly. Years of Matched Betting, Arbing and Bonus abuse takes it's toll !!

Sadly in over 50 years of gambling no bookmaker has ever banned me, on the contrary they welcome me with open arms. I wonder why I get preferential treatment...oh, of course.

A note to those who take up the £50 in play offer with Bet365, if this offer is your main source of business with Bet365 they will stop/restrict your account.

Hasnt happened yet and ive been abusing the shit out of their in play offer for the last few years.

Waiting for it to happen mind...

The PC starts as soon as your lifetime commission is less than 20% of your gross profits irrespective of how much you are winning I think. My lifetime commission dipped below 20% for a while but has now gone back over it after a poor month where I had to reload the account for the first time in about a year. My lifetime commission stands at just over £2k so they haven't done bad out of me, the Premium Charge was aimed at the bots but winning punters get caught up in it too, its a disgrace.

The main thing is though that Joe Public doesn't give a toss if people get closed down and probably don't even realise it happens. Punters not helped by the Racing Post being in the pockets of the bookies. Absolute shysters the lot of them and if they can find an excuse to not to pay a valid winner they will.

I will add that I am not a professional punter but have made money consistently in the last 18 months and the shysters don't like it up em.

Here is a list of the shysters and how much I can get on...

Stan James - closed after winning less than £2k.
Victor Chandler - closed after winning less than £2k.
William Hill - three accounts closed since last summer, fourth on its way with it being max win £100, whatever the price. £3.33 at 33/1:tosser: Probably the worst compliers of the lot and only get away with it by restricting winners very quickly.
Ladbrokes - max £25 steak.
Betfred - max £70
Tote - max £70
Boylesports - max £110
Corals - very rarely bet with them and am losing with them - no restrictions that I'm aware of.
Paddy Power - don't bet much with them but wouldn't try getting much on with them.
32Red - max £100, usually referred to a trader but get on.
888- max £100, usually referred to a trader but get on.

I think the style of betting marks your card as well, I have had a losing account closed, and an account when I had only had a couple of bets closed. EW betting on certain types of races seems to have caught me out.
Amazingly I still have my 365 account open with no problems, despite doing well on horse racing and the risk free bets and not having had to deposit for a couple of years.
I do sometimes wonder if the data protection rules may be being abused, but surely they would not dare.

Funny enough I've just had an hours battle with Hills over a free bet, more and more now you have to threaten trading standards and courts to stop them welching on offers

Had a similar thing with Betfair sportsbook, after two livechats, three emails, and one phone call I have had no joy. For the sake of a tenner I really cannot be bothered chasing it any more.

I got restricted by Boyle sports after I had the winner in the Derby. They are the worst of the bookie shower although anyone not banned by VC bet or Stan James is clearly doing it wrong.

I've learnt to bet less than £50 per bookie unless its short enough that you can bet more and the liability is reasonably low and it wont get referred to a trader. Horse racing, unless it's at Royal Ascot or Cheltenham at best price the night before attracts bannings. The bookies attitudes seems to be, Why take the risk when you can make money risk free on your casino offering?

This sums up the whole rancid industry... the greedy whatsits at B£3.65 let a punter steak what they liked when losing £23k but after they won a few quid the shysters cut them down to £1 and wont pay up:tosser: Although I'm amazed they let them steak £1 after winning £24k:annoyed:

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/jun/28/bet365-legal-action-delay-paying-punter-54000

The punter, whose identity is known to the Guardian, opened an account with Bet365 on 16 April and deposited £30,000 with the firm the following day, when she placed a series of bets on horse racing and lost £23,000. She received an email from Bet365 the same day, which stated that the size of the maximum bet she was allowed to place had been increased.

The following day she placed further bets with the remaining £7,000, winning a total of £47,000, which raised her balance to about £54,000. The same day she was informed via email that in future her account would be restricted to a maximum stake of £1 on racing bets as the result of a “trading decision”.

I'd have a pretty big bet that the she is really a he getting round a previous banning. Regardless, I'd expect 365 to be paying up. That's the kind of shithousery I'd expect from betway or winner.
