Booker to speak at tonight's Seagulls over London meeting!

Come and meet the great man in the pub this very evening!! Royal Oak, Tabard Street SE1, Kick-off 7.30pm.

About Seagulls over London

If you live or work in the capital, you’ll get a lot from joining Seagulls over London. It’s a chance to hear about all things Albion, from the inside. Recent speakers have included Dick Knight, Martin Perry, Gary Stevens, Paul Rogers and Paul Camillin. It’s a chance to meet other Seagulls fans and talk about the things that really matter – like the Falmer campaign, the state of Withdean pies and possible sightings of the big target man... We’re running a prediction league too, for any wannabe Mystic Mugs out there.

We meet on the third Thursday of every other month. The venue is the Royal Oak, Tabard Street (nearest tubes London Bridge and Borough). And just to make you feel at home, it sells Harvey’s.

Oh, and before you ask, SoL membership costs a hefty fiver a year. That’s right. Five Quid. Same as a couple of Withdean hot dogs, but without the indigestion.

I used to go regular, it really is a great night out. You are talking to the guys over a beer in a pub, it really is like they are just one of your mates for the evening. But a mate who is seriously in the know.

Obviously I used to work near Tabard St and the meeting were in Victoria, now I'm working in Tottenham they are in London Bridge. Tch.

I'll try to get along though, as it is a cracking good night.

Great pub - go there quite a few lunchtimes. It's run by the gayest bloke you'll ever meet - and yes, he's from Brighton :lolol:

I'll whack it in my diary. A reminder nearer the time would also be sweet.

Why doesn't the event start straight after people leave work?

This would help me as I then would not need to kick my heels for an hour and a half in the pub before anyone turned up.

I know, I know, I could have a beer or three but the point being I would rather be coherent for the meet-up when it occurred.
