To be honest, both White and Booker have been involved in times that we exceeded our potential. (Not referring to this particular thread) I do find thiss witch hunt against both men to be slightly....obtuse? We have been relatively successful during the 00's and both have been quite prominent. Would any manager worth his salt accept a dire backroom staff? If their job depended on it?

I don't have a major gripe against either but would be very pissed off if one of the reasons for gannon saying no was an insistence to keep him and White on at the expense of his preferred back up team!

A cheap option get Sky to bring in Ron Atkinson to oversee Booker and White and do another 'fly on the wall documentary' like they did at Peterborough.

We get an experienced knowledgeable manager iwth young backroom staff and Sky pay for it. That would appeal to the Blooms and DK.

Booker, who is married to former Southern FM breakfast show host Nicky Keig-Shevlin, was himself was also linked with the hot seat vacancy when Coppell exited for Reading in 2003 but after a reasonably successful spell as caretaker manager,he chose to stay in his comfort zone as the Seasiders number two.

this bit is rubbish anyway what was succesful about his role as caretaker before mcghee took over

Brilliant entertainment reading that, for the humor value. Our 'reserve team boss' being billed as some kind of God
