Rooks into Semi Final
My badIts the rocks mate. The Rooks are Lewes.
Anyway great way to spend a spare saturday afternoon. Fantastic result. 2 leg semi final now. The final is held
At Wembley.
I'm very proud to be a Rocks fan after a thoroughly deserved win over conference side Torquay United. There was nothing lucky about the result with Bognor controlling the game for the majority of time. Torquay were a poor side, physically strong but lacking in skill and belief, whereas Bognor with a vociferous crowd of 1821 behind them played with conviction and moved the ball around neatly. Sami El-Abd deservedly was awarded man of the match for a dominating performance in the heart of defence whilst Doug Tuck and Dan Beck orchestrated the midfield. Also a mention for Grant Smith who once again looked assured in goal.
The draw for the two-legged semi-final is live on TalkSport on Monday morning around 11.30am. Bognor will be hoping to draw Nantwich from Cheshire who play in the Evo-Stik Premier League which is the same level in the pyramid as the Isthmian Ryman League (Bognor's league) which is two levels below the National League. Grimsby, Gateshead and Halifax are the other three sides Bognor could draw, all of which are in the National league.
With the semi-final two legs being played on 12th and 19th March it would be good to have a home game at The Nye Camp on the weekend of the 12th when the Albion have no fixture because the Reading game has been postponed.
Are Bognor allowed to us Albion loanees in their forthcoming Sussex Senior Cup fixture?

The only current Albion loanee is Connor Tighe. I'm guessing that providing he's not cup-tied they will have the option to use him (but not sure).
