The carcass was spotted at the foot of cliffs near Birling Gap at about 7.30pm today.

The police helicopter was sent to the scene to help with the recovery of the body but was unable to land on the beach because of high winds.

The Argus really are very amateur at the best of times. Carcass!?

They then prompt you to leave a message if you know the 'humanoid' or not or even 'leave tributes', which generally turns into a binfest.

If the deceased is from Whitehawk then you get various different blocks slagging each other off in CAPITALS and some very poor spelling.

A relative works at Birling Gap, so they will have a sleepless night no doubt.
