Not sure how many others tuned in for the Bradley Walsh love in, one off special on ITV earlier this week, but l had no idea at all that our very own Bob Booker is one of his best mates, known each other since their school days in Watford apparantly, and were together for a while at Brentford.

Who would have thought it?

West is BEST
I saw them do a signing together around 99/2000
Not sure what they were promoting but was told then that they were old mates.

Hmmm quite an unknown quantity was our Bob l reckon, a lot of people probably don't realise he had quite a career in football long before he rocked up at Withdean as Micky's number two. Even has a stand named after him at Bramall Lane after his long stint there.

His book is worth a read. To start with you realise he very nearly didn't have a football career, a bit of luck and a lot of work and he made it, and is revered at Brentford and Sheffield United for his efforts, all long before he came to the Withdean.

Being pedantic, it's a hospitality box that's named after him, not a stand.
