Erm, no.

If you had any knowledge of this country - which you don't - you'd know there are sizeable areas of the country which speak Irish as their first language. Its legally but not in practice the first official language of the country, with a national TV station, a national radio station and stations in Dublin, Cork and even Belfast operating through that language.

Travellers claim to have their own language known as "Shelta" which is basically a corruption of Irish and English together. Two travellers from different families can't even talk to each other in this "language" as its not actually a language.

I thought you would be right into fascism to be honest.Lets face it the Irish supported the Nazis by allowing there navy to use your waters.

The rason France and Britian declared war on Germany was to protect Poland. We declard war on them. Not other way round. I though anyone with half a brain new that!!! I understand we did not declard war on Russia was becasuse we problebly new that Germany would go after Russia in the end.

1 september 1939 germany declars war on Poland. 3rd We declare was on Germany. Russia takes half of Poland with out a word.

I think you also need to factor in the UK and France refusing to sign a pact with the USSR, the Munich surrender in 1938 which allowed the Nazis to march into the Sudetenland, the failure of the UK and France to support the democratic government of Spain, Poland doing deals with the Nazis in the early 1930s and no doubt a number of other factors.

Polish pilots helped win The Battle of Britain. After the anglo Nazi/Soviet victory in Poland, 1939,Polish pilots escaped to Britain via Romania,Hungary and France.I could give you full details but this might send you all to sleep, but i will say that this country owes so much to those brave and courageous young men.
do you think they would all have come here to fight the germans if poland hadnt been invaded ? lets be honest , they came here to fight the germans who were occupying their country, whilst i respect their bravery and sacrifice, we owe them no more than we owe our own soldiers , sailors and airmen.

Didn't the Germans fake an attack by Poland. Thus declaring war. Not that any other country would do that;)

Correct.

On the late evening of 31 August 1939, German covert operatives pretending to be Polish terrorists seized the Gleiwitz radio station in the German/Poland border region of Silesia.

The station’s music program came to an abrupt halt, followed by frantic German voices announcing that Polish formations were marching toward town - Germany was being invaded by Poland!

Germany then had it's "excuse" to invade Poland on 01 September.

Don't think our floppy haired friend was suggesting we owed them more, simply that we should recognise their sacrifice.

Old Martin did ask me to go back to his place once. i declined. To be honest if Griffin did have a relationship with Webster. What difference does it make

Well, Das Reich might have an alternative to his Nicky Crane pin ups.

Eye. Its a lot more complicated than 'there were bad so we will declare war on them'.

Lets face it, its was just a contiunation of WW1 anyway.

I did not know that. Thanks!

Just that he's a complete hypocrite if he did have as he rails against the evils of homosexuality. But then it's no surprise that an anti-immigration right-winger is a hypocrite, it runs true to form

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/antiimmigrant-ukip-leader-hires-polish-builders-477314.html

The question of Griffin sexuality obviously is between him and Webster. Surprising that you wish to believe Webster. I am more interested in the farm house tapes.

For me Griffin is not the BNP and as I am not bothered about peoples sexuality. i don't care if he had a homosexual past

thats true , but its being insinuated that they all came here to fight for us, when in reality they were fighting for poland, and we were the means to facilitate that.If poland hadnt been invaded , how many do you think would have come here ? some no doubt , the same as pre 1941 americans did , but i suspect the vast majority wouldnt have ?

I would have thought that if by some mirical they were an Island just like us and were able to defend them selfs they still would have fought with us.

We didn't deliberately or intentionally allow anyone to "use our waters". We did, however, allow the UK channels through our airspace to reduce the time taken to get to the Atlantic, provide support and equipment to a burning Belfast (twice), and get bombed by Germany.

Again, your lack of knowledge is striking.

They came to fight here WITH us, and we should be grateful that they did, whatever the bigger reason.

The original point is that the BNP are using an image of a Polish-flown Spitfire (which did assist in defending our shores), while one of their messages is that Poles are not welcome here.

I think we owe them more than 'f*** off, go home'.

perhaps you should concentrate on irish politics then ? what the bnp or any uk political party do or dont do really isnt any of your business is it ?

Ireland is physically attached to the UK, is the purchaser of many of our exports and the provider of many of our imports. My employer is a supplier to the NHS of goods and services. What happens in UK politics is both important to the country and to myself.
