So, it's voting for musicians whose work appeals to your values now, eh? Who would you like standing in your constituency? - John Lydon? The Levellers? Richard Thompson? Billy Bragg?
What about for POTUS? Bruce Springsteen? Bob Dylan? Dolly Parton?

..........................of course, if whoever recorded The Birdie Song were to stand .......................
Don't know who recorded the Birdie Song but expect The Tweets would be interesting if they won.

I would imagine his first action will be to ban dustmen from doing their rounds too early on a Wednesday.

PARKLIFE!

He'll have to beat his drum loudly, the general consensus is Lib Dem here at the moment...

Indeed - I'm friends with a couple of the local Lib Dem councillors here and it's where my Tories Out vote would ordinarily be going but, let's face it, they are currently a faceless nonentity in parliamentary politics.

My(The) Ballot(Ballad) for(of) Dave(Darren)...

Presumably some of you will be voting for him!?

Don't know too much about him or his views, but I like his music and for that reason I'm IN (and the fact he's not an austerity promoting, brown paper bag passing, privatization pushing, big business backing, social safety net slashing, public sector squeezing, brexit bequeathing THUNDERCÜNT!)

It’s a vanity project.

I’ll be voting Lib Dem to get the current government replaced. I just need some assurances that the Lib Dems will never do a deal with Sunak.

Eddie Izzard was going to stand for Brighton. Until she said, “ I think you’ll need a tray”. Politics eh, can it get any more bizarre?

TBH as a Mid-Sussex resident I have struggled to know who to vote for tactically for a while, I'd like this selection to coalesce that around Labour

“Dave Rowntree will stand in Mid Sussex, the party announced on Wednesday evening. The constituency includes Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath and the Mid Sussex villages.”

So does that mean he will he be living in a house, a very big house in the country ?
If it was a member of Suede then fair enough, at least two of them are from Haywards Heath.
