I was explaining to Jnr why I thought one yacht was just a bit better than all the others, as we rounded a corner to be confronted by:-

The 2 yachts next to it were massive, but they weren't even half the size of the boat who's name I was unable to get.

Rather good isn't it? I got it with some loose change that I had lying about. Anyway, taking the old girl out on Saturday tootling down to Brighton Marina in time for the Norwich match. Have to really, all the trains are up the duff round Fareham way at the weekend.

The little one looks related to the biggie. Italian styled?

I have no idea, sadly the photos don't do either of them justice.
The biggie was proper mahooosive.

If you want some proper boat porn, take a boat rip round Valetta harbour, there's floating gin palaces there that make your boat look tiny.

Last year I worked on the Aga Khans boat moored in Plymouth dockyard, as nice as that boat is it would have fitted in the hull of the one I worked on.
£2million per metre it was, the skipper had his own apartment and there was accommodation for a crew of 12.
Down below was a Ferrari and a Lamborghini plus 6 jet skis.
I was not allowed to even look at the main accommodation area.

I had a wander through Falmouth Marina a few summers back in the build up to a big sail boat event. They were big and in immaculate condition. Most impressive. Them boats seem to require an alternative economy.

True, but I think they've overdone it with the washing line! :)

This one is in the Baltic called A, being finished inside and tested to see if it will sail or not. Hideous, but those masts the biggest in the world were made in Portsmouth. The trouble is there is only one way out of the Baltic for it as it is so big. They have to time the trip at Helsingborg when there is only a couple of feet below the ship. They have to go that way as the exit is the only one not served by a bridge under which the biggest Cruise liners pass with ease and this cannot. The owners other ship was moored of Brighton a couple of weeks ago.
