Are there any plans to move away supporters from behind the southstand goal ? . If not , why . Thankyou

Specifically. The reasons given for the E+SE+S corner not being used was complaints from the ST holders in the East Stand, but the end section of the Lower East is now consistently empty. Surely its better to expand in that direction [for cup ties, London teams, etc when we need to give more tickets away] than across the South stand, killing any chance of a regular South Stand supporters section behind the goal.

Could we always have acapella GOSBTS? PA plays fanfare in normal way, then we take over with proper words on big screen, verse 1 line 2 changed to 'now is the time to play'

Please raise this issue.

Key points.

1. Opinion is not really "divided". A massive majority of Amex STHs would love to join in the proper communal singing of SBTS. "Words on the screen are tinpot" is a red herring that only concerns a very small number of people.

2. Paul Barber and Paul Camillin have received the brilliant audio visual put together by Biscuit a couple of years ago and that surely provides a viable template to think about how well it would work. Original words, probably with the football chorus to close.

3. The WWI centenary provides the perfect opportunity to connect the club properly to the "Stand or Fall" tradition for the first time. Being more established as the club of Sussex, and enhancing the clubs broad profile as representing and being tied into the whole county, must be highly desirable.

Saturday's issues with the PA meant that the GOSBTS was [almost] acapella and it sounded fantastic... Play the music to lead us in, then fade it out and let the crowd sing it loud and proud.

You want everyone to sing "Now is the time for marching, Now is the time to play"??

Kind of destroys the song's proper context, don't you think? Flanders, 1915, Royal Sussex Regiment captain: "Right, men, we're facing the Hun, and almost certain death? What's it to be: march? Or shall we just play instead?"

Look, if it's just that you don't want to sing the embarrassing word 'gay', you could always just shut your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears.

If we're going to sing the proper words to SBTS, let's do exactly that.

They weren't late.
All signings so far have been in the time frame set down by FIFA and at our level by Tony.

For our signings to be late the club would have to wait until 01.09.

Judging by the length of the Baldock thread, it would seem the club has been working that deal for months.
We can't just insist it's done before the Spain training camp, just because that's when some fans want it done by.

Baldock, possibly longer. I watched that seagulls player feature on the Ulloa transfer, in the first few minutes of the video on the club's scouting software, the page is on Baldock's profile then the user changes to Ulloa. I think we've been keeping tabs for a lot longer than people realise.

I'd get on my knees in front of them and bow to the gods who have given us the dream that many thought would never happen.
By the way, if GOSBTS was written in 1907, what did we sing in 1906?

This might have been answered on BBC Sussex this morning.

If it is the same interview I just listened to on the Brighton BBC page. TB gets asked at the very end about Oscar coming back to be Watford boss. I get the feeling he is rightly pissed off about it. It's not what he says, more about what he does not say.

Every time I listen to an interview with him, he just comes across as a sensible bloke who has the best interests of this football club at heart. I cant think of any reason why I would not trust him to run our football club and I am incredibly grateful that he does. TB

Very good question / topic. Would love to hear a valid reason for NOT having them up there. No one is making the uberfans look at the screens in any case.

Oh come on! You must know that some of our fans expect new signings to turn up within 24 hours of being targeted. Think internet purchasing with next day delivery. :D
You clearly are not a Royal Mail delivery operative.

Have you ever tried to get a footballer through a letterbox?

Is there anything the club could do to keep the stadium full until the end of a game other than lock the doors or put a sniper outside.

Yes that is a serious question.

Actually I was! More letters than packets/parcels in my day. I'm sure that if you fold a footballer in half, and then half again you should be able to squeeze him through a letterbox. Failing that you could always throw him onto the roof (as one courier driver did recently with a packet) and leave an advice note for the householder.

Ok I have most of these questions written down. Moving the away section and GOSBTS seem to be the top questions. Sub titles on TV's and onions also get asked about, as do kids shirts and transport oh and FFP. Any more? if you are on Twitter send them to @nwsseagulls
