Don't shop at Comet if you think you may ever need their customer service back-up. It's SHOCKING.

Twice I've had grief with them in the past couple of months over different faulty goods and the response you get is pisspoor.

Go to Currys instead, or better still your local independent.

I second that. A friend of mine had to send his TV back due to a fault and it took nearly 4 months to get sorted. All that time he was without a TV, he could never find out anything coz the cust services didn't know anything! The tv was sent from pillar to post and finally written off 16 weeks later!!! Insane!!

Comet ripped my Dad off by selling him a £60 scart lead for a £60 video recorder.

Bastards

When I told him he didnt need it he took it back and they wouldnt refund.

My Dad is a good natured person who will help anyone and is old skool, he trusts people, and what happens - people take the piss.

Will never shop in there again.

The only time I bought something at Vomit was a clock radio which was a Christmas present (bought two weeks before Christmas). It was rubbish so I took it back with the intention of part exchanging it for a better one. They didn't want to know but it was the January sales.....

Now, contrary to popular speculation I, unlike some here, don't like ranting but there are exceptions. I began to complain loudly and made a point of trying to put people in the shop off.

I got a refund !

My MP3 player bought a couple of months back self-destructed on holiday - came up with message wrong fromat and wouldn't reformat.

Took it back to Currys replaced with a different model and £10 refund as that one was £10 cheaper than original - good customer service IMHO.
