The Mansfield game will be called off at 2.45pm then I assume, with Withers under three feet of snow.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Tomorrow morning, i am going to go early to the British Library, round the Kings Cross area. I nipped in there last week to see they had a beautifully quiet piece on the European Avant Garde breakthrough at the start of the 20th century, immersed in political and cultural advance and buried cinematically in profound absurdity. But i didn't give it enough time due to tiredness, so plan to go first thing tomorrow. There are 5 brief films to sit and watch for free.
Also, next year, 2008, i have seedy intent and look to impregnate someone or something. If anyone is interested in joining me in either of these ventures, contact me by midnight tonight.

They will take the measures necessary to implement the plans that have been agreed. For example, East Sussex County Council will salt 800 miles of road (out of the 2,000 miles of roads that the County Council is responsible for).

They concentrate on roads that are busier, especially during morning and evening rush hours; or lead to places such as hospitals, schools, ambulance and fire stations; or are main road bus routes (this does not include all roads used by buses in the county).

This means that most roads WON'T be salted.

If people expect EVERY road to be dealt with, they should have voted for councillors who were committed to increasing council tax to cover the costs. Don't blame the council now.

Tunbridge Wells Forecast - scattered snow showers on Thursday 3rd. Sleet/snow Friday. Showers and warmer on Saturday. Can't think Brighton will be that different.

See you at the Mansfield game!

As long as it royally fucks up the trains whilst I'm in Brighton rather than London, it can happily rain FIRE as far as I'm concerned.

Weather conditions were so extreme on the 3rd of January that everyone else at Withdean Stadium joined H Block in refusing to sit down.

Are those poor people survivors from the Wreck of the Hesperus?

If you know what I am talking about, then you are really dating yourself.

And quite where did you get this piece of fiction from ?
Oh the Capitol - it's Washington DC then so there's no need to worry about the Mansfield match then.

Yup, next Thursday it gets cooler with a threat of snow up here in London.

As for travel chaos, we tend to call it Ken Livingstone.
