The Wimbledon Men's Singles Final. - Wont happen, everything will be delayed by the rain.
The GB F1 Grand Prix - Track too waterlogged so they follow the Safety car round for 60 laps.
The 1st full Tour de France stage, (London to Canterbury) - Roads flooded, stage cancelled.

What's so different from next Sunday than today? :shrug:

WHAT!
My point is 3 major, world wide sporting events are all happening within 50-100 miles of each other @ the same time, in this country. This Sunday we have French GP & a ODI cricket match.

I wonder what the worldwide audience would be for them, next Sunday.

Le Tour goes pretty much past my flat in Woolwich. No problem with flooding, just kids with guns holding it up. Oh, and it doesn't look like they've finished one of the roads it's supposed to be going down. other than that it should be super!

Im going to watch the start of Le tour in london on Saturday. Should be good.

5 British riders in it this year, more than in the prievious 20. Wiggins or Millar to win at home perhaps?

:bounce::bounce::bounce:

yay it's here, the weathers great, there's brits in every event to cheer.
Though they'll probably all get turned over, you've got to love pessimism.

Bring it on I'm getting over excited & it's only 20 past 8.

The Wimbledon Men's Singles Final?

Not in the singles, no, but the less annoying Murray brother IS in the final of the mixed doubles, bidding to become the first Brit to win a Wimbledon title, since Jo Durie and Master Bates in 1987!

Back from the tour, now watching Wimbledon, & pick up the GP highlights later.

The Tour is on ITV4 for the next 3 weeks.

So far so good
