Personally i would go for blayney....he seems to inspire more confidence than shabaan. I like my goalkeepers to catch

Blayney, at the moment, by some distance. However, I think a fit Shaaban would give a better impression of himself than we've seen so far.

The Shabbster has not done himself justice so far....people forget he's been out of the game for 2 years then expect him to be Gordon Banks.... he does a good enough job so gets my vote.

Blaney looks a verygood keeper. Seems to catch eberything and has blocked some really testing one on ones so far. Would provide a real alternative to Kuipers.

Shabby has looked just that. I accept he needs more matches, but Blaney is still young and looks close to the finished product.

I can't even think about Perry Digweed without wincing. That awful moment when the bloke went in studs up at the Goldstone and ripped Perry's groin apart, is indelibly etched in my mind.

I was a ballboy at the game, about 10 yards away, when they carried him off, blood pissing out off his shorts. Jeeeesus.



Alternatively, Worthing have a good young keepr called Mark Ormerod. He might be one for the future?

On performance, Blayney but Shaaban unlucky with injury. The Belfast boy might fit in better too. Shabaan gives interviews about wanting to play in the Prem next season, Blayney gives interviews about wanting to play here next season.
