Blades v Studs - Our Hamstring problems

The continuing problem with hamstrings has been talked about by Gus re: training on a soft grass pitch in studs then playing on a hard (almost artificial surface) at the amex in blade type boots. I've never played in blade type boots, in my playing days we used moulded studs on hard ground but only if we had to, I think the footwear is the real problem for the likes of Lua Lua, Noone, Buckley etc, all very quick players - when trying to accelerate in blade boots the grip is just not good enough on the hard amex pitch and even a slight slipping caused extra wear on hamstrings, a slip and twang, as we've seen with Kaz several times, like Usain Bolt trying to sprint in trainers! - Interestingly CMS seems the only one unaffectedby his constant sprinting (would love to know what footwear he uses on matchdays at the amex).
The solution, as we cannot change the training ground to a hard surface, nor would we want to, is to make the amex pitch softer asap, (need grass a technician here), in the meantime constant watering may make it more acceptable to a studded boot or make the surface give better grip with a blade for those who prefer them, if we don't I fear Will Buckley will again be a victim (or maybe he's asked CMS his secret). Your thoughts?

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
CMS has that pitter patter style of running like Michael Johnson had.... I wonder if that helps him...

All new pitches are like this now, there bodies will get used to it eventually.

Why would we not want to change the training pitch so that it is like the Amex pitch? Is that not what they are going to do with the academy?

If, as Marshy states, all new pitches are like that, would it not make sense to have the training pitches the same?

I do think that there might be something in this.

Not that I would ever put myself in the same standard as pro footballers but when I was playing regularly (a few years ago now) I wore blades for a while and picked up numeroous hamstring injuries having never suffered before. The last (and worst) one was when the back blades got caught in the turf causing me to severly pull the hamstring and calf muscles in my leg so much that both muscles were badly bruised. My physio asked about my boots as he had not seen an injury so bad without serious knee injury as well. When I told hi I was wearing blades he said that he had treated many more hamstring injuries since blades came in. I went back to wearing 'proper' studs and didn't suffer any further hamstring injuries.
