Gary Mackenzie says you’ll see a different Blackpool against Brighton this weekend.

The Seasiders have had to battle through two home games against teams with a direct style on a shocking Bloomfield Road pitch this week.

But on Saturday they face an in-form Brighton side on a carpet of a surface on the South coast.

Blackpool have done well away from home under Paul Ince, and Scottish defender Mackenzie is looking forward to the weekend’s game.

“You’ll see a totally different side to us on Saturday,” he said.

“We have nothing to fear going to Brighton.

“We have players who can express themselves on a good pitch against a good passing team.

“We are all looking forward to Saturday now, we might actually be able to string a couple of passes together.”

The only thing we had to fear from him was him cleaning out the Mrs Piglets pies! Were his shorts too big or or did he look a bit of a lard arse? Not quite Andy Reed but shows promise:)

palace said this on St Patrick's before the massacre.

Blackpool said it today.

Let's hope we hear all about the amazing Amex pitch in the play-offs and then the not quite as amazing Wembley one in the final too.

Leg out of the bed
I was thinking of starting a 'Guv'nor, Guv'nor, what's the score...' chant, but the irony would have been lost on Ince I reckon

Way out west
I think they deserve some credit for trying to play football and not kick lumps out of us which some other sides would have done.

Also, credit to the referee for only needing to give a total of seven free kicks in the whole game.
