Why oh why do people rave on about this place - i went over last Friday and all i thought was "what a fcuking shithole" horrible horrible place full of burger and chip scoffing scots, god damn awful place on looking round didn't even seem to have much potential for a night out either.

I don't know anyone who does rave on about Blackpool anymore. Twenty years ago maybe, but now? No one.

It's the height of tackiness.

They do seem to be building some new shopping centre in the middle of all the pound shops and hot dog stands.

I went there for a weekend last summer, ironically with a Scot, had a good weekend there, but is tacky, but as long as you know that it is fine.
